Runway 13-31 was a project that I started conceiving on March 13, 2020. I was so distraught about going into lockdown, and threw myself into writing, and for the first time in so many years, I was writing for me. The first track, Distant Hope, was released on March 27, and the next four tracks were released each following Friday.

Each week I put what I was feeling into those tracks, and you can hear the arc of my emotions. It's also worth noting that each track was written, performed, and recorded in one day, usually the Thursday before the Friday single release. In September I sat down to mix them, but all in the same day. It was important to keep the vibe fresh and not too polished.

The final touch was getting them mastered by JJ Golden and we created a sequence so the music never stops and you can be transported to my mind and heart back in March and April of 2020.
